What is style?

According to Wikipedia, style, in the design sense; is the process of creating something. In fashion, style is a prevailing mode of expression, for example one’s choice of clothing.

But let’s be reminded that style is more than just your new haircut, that gorgeous new coat you’ve just bought, or even that pair of sexy Jimmy Choos.

Style is also expression.

To put it simply, style is a combination of the way you dress, talk, move your body or do anything for that matter. It is how we express our inner being, outwardly.

So we’d like to ask you – What is your style?

Is it laidback? It is glamorous? Gypsy? Business-like? Is it prim and proper? Vintage? Emo? Retro? Adventurous? Geeky? Goth? Or is it bohemian? Punk? Sexy? Heck, it could even be something that we’ve never heard of!

How do I participate?

STEP 1: Only members are eligible to participate. So if you’re not yet a member, sign up at www.shopwithflo.com for FREE.

STEP 2: Become a FAN of our Facebook page (http://facebook.com/ShopWithFLO) by clicking LIKE.

STEP 3: Post a picture on ShopWithFLO’s wall of yourself that best defines YOUR STYLE.

STEP 4: Caption the picture with the following sentence including tagging us in the caption – “@ShopWithFLO, my style is…” (no word limit)

The “What’s Your Style Contest” runs from Monday 23 August – Sunday 29 August. Our favourite THREE posts will be announced on Monday, 30 August.
